Hello Mr. Morawczynski,
My name is Sarah Braasch. I am a Yale PhD Candidate in Philosophy and a lifelong human and civil rights attorney and activist. I am also the entirely innocent victim of the Living or Napping While Black Hate Crime Hoax at Yale that took place in May, 2018. This Living While Black incident has been widely debunked, and I am in the midst of suing Yale in the courts, for Justice, to restore Due Process and Equal Protection at Yale, and to restore Police Accountability and Transparency, by forcing them to release the Yale Campus Police body camera footage from the Hate Crime Hoax.
The voting public in MN needs to know what Richard Painter has done to me. He is patently unfit to serve in any public office, including representing the MN01 in the US Congress.
I have publicly documented Richard Painter’s now more than 5 month Twitter campaign to drive me to suicide and to destroy what remains of my life on my blog and YouTube Channel.
Richard Painter began viciously and relentlessly attacking me in mid September, 2021, to use me as a proxy to attack University of Chicago Law and Philosophy Professor Brian Leiter, because Brian has steadfastly stood by my side during this now almost 4 year surreal and hellish nightmare I’ve been living in.
Richard Painter has also been engaging in grossly defamatory and unhinged Twitter campaigns for the past 5 months against Brian Leiter and former University of Chicago affiliate John Lott Jr. I believe he may have some personal vendetta against the University of Chicago for some reason.
Here is a brief list of some of the more egregious things that Richard Painter has said about me and done to me during the past 5 months. Please know that Richard Painter did these things to destroy me for publicly documenting his vile campaign against me to drive me to suicide:
Richard Painter threatened to have me disbarred and reported for fraud.
Richard Painter incited many mental health slur hurling and death threat sending mobs against me, who then waged campaigns to destroy what remains of my life, by trying to get me fired, including by contacting my employers, and disbarred, doxxing and swatting me, posting my home address on Twitter, and posting that I had guns and pretending to get me arrested for fake restraining orders. They also contacted the MN and NV State Bars and the FTC.
Richard Painter avidly encouraged a particular tormentor who created multiple social media accounts on various platforms, as well as a blog, to torture me into committing suicide, under the name of Tears of Sarah. This was allegedly satire, but it was, in point of fact, often impersonation and gross abuse and harassment and stalking.
Richard Painter threatened to swat me, by telling the police that I had guns that I was going to use and that I was a dangerous and delusional psycho.
Richard Painter threatened to have Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison prosecute me for fraud.
Richard Painter repeatedly attacked my GoFundMe, by accusing me of using it to perpetrate fraud. Richard Painter’s goons did as well, mass reporting my GoFundMe with bad faith reports of fraud. I was repeatedly investigated by GoFundMe. My GoFundMe is the antithesis of fraud, and GoFundMe has repeatedly rebuffed these attacks and stood by my side.
Richard Painter defamed me in an MSNBC Op Ed, again accusing me of perpetrating fraud, including with my GoFundMe.
Richard Painter repeatedly tried to lynch me, according to the NAACP’s definition of a lynching as a public killing without Due Process, including on Thanksgiving and Christmas, no less, by repeatedly comparing me to Ahmaud Arbery’s killers and to Hitler, if you can believe it. He subsequently exploited Amir Locke’s killing for the same purpose.
There is no way that Richard Painter did not appreciate that he was placing my life in the gravest of danger by repeatedly suggesting that I tried to lynch Black students at Yale via the Yale Campus Police, and by comparing me to killers and to a tyrannical, genocidal despot, in the case of Hitler.
Richard Painter suggested that I was involved in the January 6th Riot at the Capitol building.
I begged Richard Painter to stop trying to drive me to suicide and to stop putting my life in the gravest of danger.
Richard Painter has subsequently tried to play victim and accuse me of harassing and abusing him, because I have been publicly documenting his now more than 5 month campaign against an innocent private citizen nobody whose life was already destroyed.
Richard Painter has spent most of the past 5 months attacking and abusing an already traumatized and vulnerable and suicidal woman on Twitter for sport, and the voting public in MN needs to know. The Good People of Minnesota will never elect a Monster to the US Congress to represent them.
I’ll stop there. I think that’s more than enough.
I have been living in a constant state of terror for the past 5 months, terrified that Richard Painter and his goons will finally find a way to decimate what remains of my life, which isn’t much. My academic and legal careers were already decimated. I live in poverty. I made $20k in 2021. I take a few cases as a pro bono attorney for the local legal aid center, and I have a low paying, remote job helping to stop the evictions of families with kids from their apartments.
This isn’t enough punishment for Richard Painter and his goons, for a non-event and non-crime from almost 4 years ago. They aren’t going to stop attacking me until I’m starving to death on the streets. They aren’t going to stop attacking me until I’m dead.
As I hope is obvious, Richard Painter is patently unfit to serve in any public office, including representing the MN01 in the US Congress.

I want to be perfectly clear about this: Richard Painter is unfit to serve in any public office. Richard Painter spent most of the past 5 months waging a campaign on Twitter to drive me to suicide and to destroy my life. His behavior is shocking. I’m happy to speak to the press.
The voting public needs to know about what Richard Painter did to me. His gross abuse of me, a private citizen nobody and innocent Yale grad student and lifelong civil rights attorney, is absolutely shocking. He is unfit to serve in the US Congress. He is unfit to represent MN.
1 MN reporter said he would reach out to me, if Richard Painter actually runs for Governor. He’s running for US Congress, or, at least, seeking the DFL nomination. I think it’s just as important that the voting public in MN knows what he did to me. He is unfit to serve.
