I just wanted to give everyone an update on my legal bill. I just made a $1000 payment towards my legal bill from my earnings from my 2 jobs, bringing it down to just under $15k, instead of just under $16k.
I want to pay as much of it as I can from my earnings from my 2 jobs, but I have to be a little bit careful, because I am also trying to get home to my sister in MN as quickly as possible.
I am still terrified that my many abusive and deranged stalkers, including Richard Painter and his Goons, are going to find a way to be successful in getting me fired from my jobs. My jobs are literally sealing criminal records, so that people can rebuild their lives and take care of their families, and saving families from eviction from their apartments. That’s what I do. Those are my 2 jobs currently. But, my stalkers don’t even want me to have that. They just want me to starve to death on the streets. They just want me dead, so that I can’t get the Truth out about the witch hunt at Yale that destroyed my life.
There are a large number of campaigns, including by very powerful persons and organizations, to silence and destroy me.
I am trying to get home to my sister just as quickly as possible, so that I can be less terrified that my stalkers will find a way to decimate what semblance of a life I have left. I think it will be so good for my mental and emotional health and well-being.

I got into the PhD Program in Philosophy at Yale based upon extraordinary merit alone, and despite extreme disadvantage: a lifetime of egregious trauma, poor, mental health disabilities, sexual assault survivor, barely survived a hellish childhood in a religious cult and a sexually, physically, and emotionally/verbally abusive family. Both of my biological brothers are dead. Jacob killed himself after he had just turned 24, because my father told him to. Aaron froze to death on his own doorstep, due to mixing his anti-psychotic meds with alcohol; he was a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic. My de facto brother, Sean, also committed suicide.
And, I’m a white woman.
So, because I’m a white woman who was perceived as a crazy, old, poor white trash interloper at Yale, the Yale Administration, including Yale President Peter Salovey, thought I was the perfect, completely expendable nobody loser to cast in the role of their Nazi, to justify their vast, new Maoist bureaucracy for snitching on one another anonymously over alleged racial harassment, with not a stitch of Due Process in sight. (Yale decided against establishing a Title VI office on campus, because they don’t actually care if Black and Brown students feel safe or welcome or a sense of “Belonging at Yale.” They only care about not honoring the Due Process rights of their patsies, their sacrificial lambs, or, rather, poor black sheep. I know. You’re shocked.)

I also dared to be an unWoke civil libertarian who defends the Federal Civil Rights, the religious expression rights, of Evangelical Black men at Yale. And, I had the temerity to infiltrate the inner sanctum, so, of course, I had to be ousted as a heretical apostate. For this, I was ostracized and widely despised at Yale, and not just by the other philosophy grad students, who would leave a room, if I entered it, but across campus. My being persona non grata at Yale was also why I experienced multiple instances of harassment in Yale grad student housing.
But, this isn’t just the case for the Yale Administration and Student Body and Government, and faculty like Yale Sociology Professor Elijah Anderson, as well as Yale Law School Dean Heather Gerken and Yale Law School Professor and Justice Collaboratory Member, Monica C. Bell.
Everyone who participated in the Woke Witch Hunt at Yale was playing institutional gatekeeper, from University of South Carolina Philosophy Professor and Daily Nous blogger, Justin Weinberg, to NYU Social Psychologist Jonathan Haidt, to Roxane Gay, who was awarded a Yale Visiting Professorship from Yale President Peter Salovey, and all she had to do was help him try to get me killed. Thank goodness no one could care if I die, because I’m a crazy, old poor white trash nobody loser. That was convenient.
No one has been ranting and raving more about the elitism of the Ivy League, including Yale, his alma mater, than Richard Painter. They created multiple accounts across social media to impersonate and terrorize me and drive me to suicide and destroy my life. They told the most disgusting lies imaginable about me in 100 Tweet Twitter thread after Twitter thread. They tried to have me prosecuted for Fraud, including by Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. They defamed me on MSNBC. They published race-baiting dystopian fantasy law school journal articles as part of the Get Sarah Braasch Killed Black Trauma Moral Outrage Industry. They even compared me to Hitler to destroy what semblance of a life I have left. And, they tried to Lynch me on Thanksgiving and Christmas, including in USA Today, by comparing me to Ahmaud Arbery’s killers and suggesting that I was trying to Lynch Black students at Yale via the Yale Campus Police.
And, Yale Sociology Professor Elijah Anderson even wrote a Living While Black Race Hoax book that he just published and is avidly promoting across the US and the world, so that he doesn’t have to face accountability for what he did to me during the Woke Witch Hunt at Yale.
They only succeeded in getting me kicked off Twitter.

I will complete my agent based computational model and simulations of how social institutions arise in populations, wax and wane, evolve and devolve, and, eventually collapse. I will complete my social psychological study on the nature of authority, the nature of legitimacy, and the nature of the relationship between the two. I will complete my analysis of how to minimize the oppression that is inherent to our social institutions.

A Non-Ideal Account of Meaning Based Upon a Modified Lewisian/Hartian Account of Social Conventions
Abstract
What does it mean for a language to be the language of that population? David Lewis argues in Convention that a language is the language of a certain population, if that population has a social convention of truthfulness in that language. This might seem intuitive, even if an idealization. Don’t we use language to align our beliefs about objects and facts in the world?
I argue that this is mistaken. We are never simply aligning our beliefs. We use language to impose our worldviews upon one another.
Social power is antecedent to linguistic meaning. The world doesn’t come to us carved at the joints. We do the carving. And, we are always carving the world into extension sets of referents and corresponding linguistic concepts. I am carving the world as I type.
Linguistic meaning is a social institution like any other social institution; linguistic meaning is a social convention; it is a step public social good. And, the assumption and conferral of practical authority is an essential feature of all social institutions/conventions (step public social goods).
This is why I use a Modified Lewisian/Hartian Account of Social Conventions as the basis for a Non-Ideal Account of Meaning. This account can accommodate our pre-theoretical intuitions that linguistic meaning evolves over time, waxing and waning, as sub social groups introduce and cease to use linguistic terms and concepts and referents. It also solves many problems in the philosophy of language.
It solves Saul Kripke’s problem of the eternal initial baptism/primitive reference. The initial baptism is an ostensive definition with a demonstrative reference, i.e., a pointing with authority. The initial baptism is rendered an identity statement between two rigid designators (the pointing and the authority), because a social group has conferred naming authority. This answers to our pre-theoretical intuitions that we use proper names and general terms as rigid designators, even for what we construe as artifact kind terms.
And, we may use proper names and general terms to refer to objects about which we may know nothing. This is the beauty of an account of reference for proper names and general terms that is a social convention to refer as a naming authority refers. (This is why I argue that linguistic competence is much more a matter of know how than know that.)
It also solves Gareth Evans’ problems with his causal description theory of reference for proper names. Every time we stand in the ostensive definition relation to an object, we make it the case that the name/general term that we use possesses indexicality. But, because the ostensive definition relation is the most intimate relation in which a speaker may stand with respect to the referent, the truth conditions of our statements never become severed from the things that we care about in the present. Using a name is bestowing a name, if I have the authority to so bestow a name.

But, I know that it’s so much easier to burn a white woman witch for Black Trauma Moral Outrage Industry money and gain than to actually try to deal with the problems of Racism and Police Brutality like I do. I spend my days sealing people’s criminal records, so that they can rebuild their lives and take care of their families. I spend my days saving families with children from being evicted from their apartments.
What does Jelani Jefferson Exum do? She spends her time making cheap and easy and fast Black Trauma Moral Outrage Industry money by destroying the Living While Black movement by turning it into a Race Hoax and Bloodsport, targeting and demonizing white women, especially the good victims with mental health disabilities and without the resources to fight back. Of course, University of Minnesota Law Professor and former White House Ethics Lawyer (?!) Richard Painter, who has been waging a now 4 month Twitter campaign to destroy what remains of my life and drive me to suicide, merits his own paragraph. The whole world knows now that he began viciously and relentlessly attacking me in mid September, 2021, to use me as a proxy to attack University of Chicago Law and Philosophy Prof Brian Leiter. Richard Painter is literally trying to ruin me, silence me, and incite someone to shoot and kill me. He has done everything to me at this point from threatening to SWAT me and to have MN Attorney General Keith Ellison prosecute me for fraud for my GoFundMe fundraiser, to defaming me in an MSNBC Op Ed, comparing me to Hitler, and trying to Lynch me on Thanksgiving and Christmas, by comparing me to Ahmaud Arbery’s killers, to incite someone to murder me. Why would any grown man, let alone a law prof and former White House Ethics Lawyer with 750k Twitter followers behave in this reprehensible manner? Richard Painter is contemplating a run for MN Governor, and his potential gubernatorial run is now DOA, after what he did to me. Needless to say, if Richard Painter’s run for MN Governor can be destroyed by me simply telling the Truth about what he did to me, before it has even begun, then it deserves to be destroyed.
Of course, Yale Law School, including the Justice Collaboratory, and YLS Dean Heather Gerken, as well as YLS Prof and JC Member Monica C. Bell and Johns Hopkins Prof and JC Member Vesla Weaver, deserve their own paragraph. The whole world knows now that Yale Law School DEI Admins and Dean Heather Gerken grossly mistreated YLS Native American Student and Federalist Society Member Trent Colbert during the now notorious Traphouse Invite Debacle. They are also being sued by 2 YLS Students of Color for trying to destroy their future career prospects, because the 2 students allegedly refused to help YLS Dean Gerken destroy YLS Professor Amy Chua. So, now that these revelations have come to light, the whole world knows that I’ve been telling the truth this entire time about what Yale Law School and the Justice Collaboratory and YLS Dean Heather Gerken and YLS Prof Monica Bell and JC Member Vesla Weaver did to me. Monica Bell perpetrated the most egregious ethical violation when she published her asinine race-baiting dystopian fantasy article, Anti-Segregation Policing, in the NYU Law Review. She failed to make clear that she knew me as an innocent Yale grad student and civil rights attorney and had worked with me at the Justice Collaboratory at Yale Law School. She failed to disclose that she was naming and defaming me and trying to drive me to suicide in the NYU Law Review to protect Johns Hopkins (formerly Yale) Prof and Justice Collaboratory Member Vesla Weaver. Vesla Weaver had worked with Johns Hopkins (formerly Yale) Professor Chris Lebron and Vox dot com to defame me and drive me to suicide, to use me as a proxy to get revenge against Yale for Lebron having been denied tenure at Yale. Both Vesla Weaver and Chris Lebron knew me and had worked with me at Yale, and I would even go so far as to say that Lebron knew me well at one point. I had worked with Lebron on 2 explicitly anti-racism conferences at Yale, with my Yale Philosophy Advisor, Jason Stanley. Tom Tyler, father of Procedural Justice and Co-Director of the Justice Collaboratory at Yale Law School, had been my Advisor and the Co-Chair of my Dissertation Committee. Initially, after the perfectly obvious Living or Napping While Black Hate Crime Hoax at Yale, Tyler had been supportive and had written one of my character letters to Yale’s General Counsel. After I publicly denounced Weaver and Lebron for what they had done to me, Tyler unceremoniously dropped me as an advisee. I now believe that he did so at the behest of Tracey Meares, Co-Director of The Justice Collaboratory at YLS. Vesla Weaver is a longtime friend and collaborator of Meares, as well as a current Justice Collaboratory Member.

A Non-Ideal Account of Meaning Based Upon a Modified Lewisian/Hartian Account of Social Conventions
Abstract
What does it mean for a language to be the language of that population? David Lewis argues in Convention that a language is the language of a certain population, if that population has a social convention of truthfulness in that language. This might seem intuitive, even if an idealization. Don’t we use language to align our beliefs about objects and facts in the world?
I argue that this is mistaken. We are never simply aligning our beliefs. We use language to impose our worldviews upon one another.
Social power is antecedent to linguistic meaning. The world doesn’t come to us carved at the joints. We do the carving. And, we are always carving the world into extension sets of referents and corresponding linguistic concepts. I am carving the world as I type.
Linguistic meaning is a social institution like any other social institution; linguistic meaning is a social convention; it is a step public social good. And, the assumption and conferral of practical authority is an essential feature of all social institutions/conventions (step public social goods).
This is why I use a Modified Lewisian/Hartian Account of Social Conventions as the basis for a Non-Ideal Account of Meaning. This account can accommodate our pre-theoretical intuitions that linguistic meaning evolves over time, waxing and waning, as sub social groups introduce and cease to use linguistic terms and concepts and referents. It also solves many problems in the philosophy of language.
It solves Saul Kripke’s problem of the eternal initial baptism/primitive reference. The initial baptism is an ostensive definition with a demonstrative reference, i.e., a pointing with authority. The initial baptism is rendered an identity statement between two rigid designators (the pointing and the authority), because a social group has conferred naming authority. This answers to our pre-theoretical intuitions that we use proper names and general terms as rigid designators, even for what we construe as artifact kind terms.
And, we may use proper names and general terms to refer to objects about which we may know nothing. This is the beauty of an account of reference for proper names and general terms that is a social convention to refer as a naming authority refers. (This is why I argue that linguistic competence is much more a matter of know how than know that.)
It also solves Gareth Evans’ problems with his causal description theory of reference for proper names. Every time we stand in the ostensive definition relation to an object, we make it the case that the name/general term that we use possesses indexicality. But, because the ostensive definition relation is the most intimate relation in which a speaker may stand with respect to the referent, the truth conditions of our statements never become severed from the things that we care about in the present. Using a name is bestowing a name, if I have the authority to so bestow a name.
