Kiley Reid and The Times are Trying to Drive Me (an Innocent Civil Rights Activist) to Suicide to Sell Copies of her Novel, Such a Fun Age

I just want to make perfectly clear that Kiley Reid and The Times are trying to drive me, an entirely innocent human and civil rights licensed attorney activist to suicide to sell copies of her novel, Such a Fun Age.

Everyone knows at this point that the Living or Napping While Black Incident at Yale University was in point of fact the Living or Napping While Black Hate Crime Hoax at Yale University, and I am the entirely innocent victim thereof.

It is insane to me that, in January, 2020, FAKE NEWS orgs and public figures still think it’s ok to destroy and endanger my life and lifelong human and civil rights academic and legal careers for Moral Outrage Industry profit and gain.

Kiley Reid should be completely ashamed of herself. The Times should be completely ashamed of themselves. The Times should shutter itself in abject shame for what they are doing to me. Kiley Reid should pull publication of her novel, Such a Fun Age, in abject shame for what she is doing to me.

I want to make clear that this is not an isolated incident. The last time that Kiley Reid defamed me in The Times, I reached out, to Kiley Reid, to her publishers, and to The Times, to make sure that they were fully aware that the Living or Napping While Black Incident at Yale University was a Hate Crime Hoax, and I was the entirely innocent victim thereof. Moreover, it was a public campaign to shame me for my mental health disabilities and to drive me to suicide, and the Yale Administration and Police were complicit.

Even so, even if I hadn’t already informed Kiley Reid and her publishers and The Times of these facts, EVERYONE who participated in the global defamation campaign against me that almost got me killed KNEW or SHOULD HAVE KNOWN that I was entirely innocent. All anyone had to do was google my name to discover that I had spent my life fighting against oppression in all of its many forms, including racism, and that I would NEVER engage in racist behavior ever, because it is antithetical to everything that I am.

I expect a full retraction from The Times. I expect public apologies from Kiley Reid, The Times, and Reid’s publishers.

I can’t take any more abuse. One person can only take so much abuse. If this can happen to me, someone who had spent her life as a human and civil rights activist, it can happen to absolutely anyone. What Reid and The Times are doing to me should terrify absolutely everyone. Being a lifelong human and civil rights activist didn’t protect me from being globally vilified as a genocidal villain, and it won’t protect you either. I hope that the moral outrage industry money was worth it for Reid and The Times, to sell their souls.
