I’m Getting My Twitter Account Back!!!

I’m getting my Twitter Account back!!!

So, I got a notice on Friday that said that Twitter Support acknowledged that my permanent Twitter suspension was completely wrongful and that my Twitter Account would be fully restored.

I was thrilled, needless to say; however, I wasn’t seeing my account as fully restored. So, I submitted another appeal to my suspension, and I copied and pasted the notice into the appeal, and then I supplemented it a couple of times, and then I decided that it would probably take a minute, so just sit tight for a day or two. And, then I thought it was probably the weekend, and I would have to wait until Monday. On Monday, I supplemented the appeal again.

But, this morning, I received the same automated loop response that my account had been found to be engaging in Hateful Conduct (which we all know is completely ridiculous) and would not be restored. So, then, I thought, well maybe appealing the suspension is not the right way to go about it, so I submitted a number of individual tickets saying that I couldn’t tweet, couldn’t like tweets, couldn’t send direct messages, etc., figuring that would do the trick.

Then, this afternoon, I decided to go public, to spur Twitter to action. So, skepticreview89 on Twitter, Gretchen Mullen, posted a screen shot of the notice I had received, announcing the restoration of my Twitter Account!

I decided to make a temporary account, while I await the restoration of my original account. But, then, Twitter suspended my temporary account.

I think I’m just in automated hell.

But, I do believe that it is simply a matter of time until Twitter fully restores my account. I just have to keep pestering them until they right this madness.

My account NEVER should have been suspended in the first place, and everyone with any common sense and decency can see that.

I’ll keep you all posted and let you know the second my account is restored!

John Besche of the Yale Daily News is also writing a piece about my wrongful Twitter suspension. I want to continue getting this into the press until my account is fully restored, and even thereafter.

Twitter needs to fix this. This can’t happen to anyone ever again.

I love you all so much for your support and kind words and donations. I will never stop fighting for justice for everyone who has been falsely accused and cyber mobbed and defamed. We will restore civil liberties, including due process and free speech, at Yale, and at campuses across the US, and everywhere.

If you wish to support me, as I seek justice, it would mean the world to me. Here are my PayPalMe and GoFundMe links.
